What is a home inspection?
I get asked this question a lot: what exactly is a home inspection?
The short answer: it’s an unbiased review of the current condition of a property.
What We Look At
During an inspection, I spend several hours going through the home’s major systems:
Structure and roofing
Plumbing and electrical
Health and safety concerns
The goal isn’t to nitpick — it’s to get a clear picture of how the property is performing right now.
What You Receive
At the end of every inspection, clients receive a detailed report. This isn’t just a checklist — it’s a photo-rich, plain-language explanation of exactly what I found. The report highlights what matters most, so you can plan repairs, negotiate if needed, or just move forward with peace of mind.
Who It’s For
Home inspections aren’t just for buyers. They also help:
Sellers who want fewer surprises during a sale.
Renters moving into long-term leases.
Agents who want smoother closings and happier clients.
Why It Matters
The whole purpose of an inspection is confidence. Clear, unbiased insights allow everyone involved — buyer, seller, renter, or realtor — to move forward with clarity instead of uncertainty.
